Pedro Almodovar acclaimed story of two men caring for women in comas has much to admire. The film is arrestingly original and gentle and forgiving of spirit. (Barton) Canal Place

Bruce Willis, apparently inspired by ex-wife Demi Moore, is a Navy SEAL forced into a moral quandary during a rescue mission in Africa in this film by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day).
