Even if you're a fan of competitive bobsledding, it's likely you'll find your event on one of Kabby's 50 television sets tuned to a variety of sporting events. The menu goes well with sports and draft beer: favorites include po-boys, fried seafood platters and the Bayou Combo, which consists of red beans and sausage over jambalaya. No reservations. Lunch and dinner daily. Credit cards. $

KANNO SUSHI
3205 Edenborn Ave., Metairie 455-5730
Kanno's menu promises a unique blend of traditional Japanese style cooking infused with a West Coast flavor. The Kaiseki style, known as the "feed me special," certainly lives up to its name. You start with four appetizers followed by a chef's selected entree and sushi. The chef's creations might include Lobster Dynamite, a baked lobster tail filled with snow crab served with dynamite sauce. Reservations recommended. Lunch Monday through Friday, dinner Tuesday through Sunday. Credit cards. $$

KANPAI
4116 Canal St. 483-0880
The all-you-can-eat lunch buffet at this Mid-City restaurant comes courtesy of the same owners of Cafe Zen in Gretna and Hana in Riverbend. The spacious spread includes sushi rolls, sashimi and other Japanese delights, and you won't be the only one going back for a second or third helping. The celebrity roll is a fast-rising star on the menu, with tuna, salmon, snow crab and avocado rolled together and sprinkled with bonito seasoning. No reservations. Lunch and dinner daily. Credit cards. $$

KATIE'S

KELSEY'S RESTAURANT
3923 Magazine St. 897-6722

For an entree, indulge with the filet mignon with port mushroom demi-glace. Reservations recommended. Lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday, brunch Sunday. Credit cards and checks. $$

KENNER SEAFOOD INC.

Lunch and dinner daily. Credit cards and checks. $

KOREA HOUSE
3547 18th St., Metairie 888-0654
Unique versions of Korean food can be found here in signature dishes such as the Fire Meat: beef marinated in an Oriental sauce. Honey Pecan Shrimp sauteed and tossed with broccoli is another favorite. Reservations recommended. Lunch and dinner daily. Delivery available. Credit cards. $-$$
