Mid City Lanes Rock 'n' Bowl owner John Blancher has taken over this
tried-and-true Uptown cafe and is amping up the menu with some new additions,
including fried green tomatoes topped with shrimp remoulade. And, you don't
have to be a lawyer to order the Attorney's Filet: a 6-ounce bacon-wrapped
filet served with avocado and sliced Lyonnaise potatoes -- so tasty it oughtta
be illegal. No reservations. Lunch and dinner daily. Credit cards. $

Chase your hamburger with a shot of tequila (or two) at Yo Mama's, which
features 14 gourmet burgers and 50 tequila varieties. Grill alternates range
from fillets of tuna to filet mignon. Thursday through Saturday nights, a
DJ and dance floor keep the action moving. Table dining and bar drinking
available both upstairs and downstairs. Delivery available. No reservations.

Your Daily Bread serves up an assortment of sandwiches, pastries and cakes,
as well as housemade chicken salad. Another favorite is the spinach cheese
