Entry fee $8 kids, $12 adults by May 26, $10 kids, $15 adults after May 26; fee includes commemorative T-shirt, refreshments and Storyland admission. 5K run 8 a.m., half-mile fun run 9:15 a.m.

JUNE IN BLOOM. New Orleans Board of Trade, 316 Board of Trade Place (near Poydras and Magazine streets), 525-BRIDE. Weddings with Style magazine presents brides-to-be with showcase of wedding professionals, fashion and services. Admission $10 advance, $15 at door. 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

ART IN JEFFERSON'S PARIS. Tulane University, Freeman Auditorium, 488-2631. Dr. Robert Rosenblum, art professor at New York University, delivers slide lecture "Art in Jefferson's Paris" in conjunction with New Orleans Museum of Art's exhibit Jefferson's America & Napoleon's France. Free admission. 3 p.m.

TRINITY ARTIST SERIES. Trinity Episcopal Church, 1329 Jackson Ave., 670-2520. Concert featuring tenor singer Gerald Stroup with pianist Albinas Prizgintas performing works of Handel and Rossini, plus music from pianists Diane Haddad Cangeni and Loretta Haddad. Free admission. 5 p.m.

THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER CHALLENGE. Riverwalk, Spanish Plaza, 362-3797. Event supporting the Mississippi River Challenge, a tandem of canoers attempting to paddle all 2,348 miles of the Mississippi River to raise funds and awareness against Rett Syndrome and Leukodystrophy. Dinner features buffet dinner donated by locals, raffle and live music from Angela Myles and Friends. Admission $25 donation, cash bar additional. 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.



Monday 2

ADULT ART CLASSES. NOCCA/Riverfront, 2800 Chartres St., 940-2900. The faculty of NOCCA/Riverfront offers a week-long arts training in various disciplines, including ceramics, digital photography, dance, poetry and yoga. Morning, afternoon, evening and full-day times available. Tuition fees $200-$245 and includes all supplies.

LUNCHEON WITH MAYOR RAY NAGIN. Six Flags New Orleans, Festival Hall, 12301 Lake Forest Blvd., 527-6950. The New Orleans Regional Chamber of Commerce hosts luncheon forum featuring Mayor Ray Nagin, who will give updates on economic development issues and answer audience questions. Cost $30 chamber members, $35 non-members. Reservations required. 11:30 a.m.

NEW ORLEANS FILM FESTIVAL. New Orleans Film Festival, 843 Carondelet St., 524-5271. Call for film submissions for inclusion in 2003 New Orleans Film Festival. The festival's Competitive Division screens films on 35mm, 16mm, DVD, VHS and Beta. Early submission (by May 9) $35, final deadline June 13 ($45); the festival runs Oct. 9-16.
