From Sept. 2 through Sept. 18, Gambit Weekly will conduct face-to-face candidate endorsement interviews for the following offices: governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of state, attorney general, treasurer, insurance commissioner, BESE Board Districts 1 and 2, Jefferson Parish sheriff and Jefferson Parish president. Candidates for state senator and state representative for Orleans and Jefferson parishes should contact Etheridge to receive instructions on how to access Gambit Weekly's online questionnaire; you can also receive a copy of the questionnaire by email or fax. Filling out this questionnaire is the required first step in our legislative endorsement process.
Gambit Weekly will not endorse in races for Commissioner of Agriculture and Forestry, Jefferson Parish Council, and both Clerk and Section B Judge of Orleans Parish Criminal District Court.
