One mile past the Goose Bayou bridge, this restaurant serves heaping platters of Cajun favorites with a few Bavarian specials (like wienerschnitzel) thrown in for good measure. Hearty appetites should tackle the stuffed eggplant pirogue combo platter, where the eggplant is stuffed with shrimp and crawfish dressing and served with fried fish, shrimp, oysters and jambalaya.
