CORNER CAFE 3316 Green Acres Road, Metairie 454-1008 Around lunchtime, you'll find this cafe full of diners who come for the home-cooked roast beef sandwich. YE OLDE COLLEGE INN 3016 S. Carrollton Ave. 866-3683 It still serves the oyster loaf advertised on the outside wall, but the nearly 75-year-old restaurant's 'Atkins friendly' catfish Manchac (broiled catfish with a crab and Brie sauce) shows that Ye Olde College Inn also keeps up with modern trends.
