Char a Vin
A great value from Southern Rhone, grapes for this estate-bottled wine were sourced from vines averaging 40 years old. The low yielding vineyards, rooted in limestone and clay soils, face a slightly southern exposure on the slopes in the little village of Rasteau. A blend of predominantly Grenache and Syrah, this medium-bodied wine sees no oak. Expect aromas of ripe black fruit and earth, with sweet red and black currants, spice and pepper on the palate.
