Balance Spa and Fitness (300 Poydras St., Loews Hotel, 595-5333) has added several services to its menu including couples' instructional massage, an Age Intervention Facial, C-esta facial, shiatsu, reflexology and East Meets West Massage.

Chameleons Day Spa (811 S. Clark St., 486-0926) recently changed its name to Chameleons Day Spa, Cafe & Coffee and expanded its offerings to include food and java. The new enterprise will host "Artist Monday" on the first Monday of every month, and will have poetry night every Wednesday starting at 8 p.m.

Stop into the brand new French Bred (3426 Magazine St.) shoe boutique from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday to peruse new footwear at a trunk show of Kat Chouteau shoes from London. The line is new to the United States and will be featured at French Bred, located inside Liz Kite Antiques/Rousset Textiles, which specializes in 18th, 19th and early 20th century antiques and 17th and 18th century textiles and tapestries.

Jonathan Ferrara Gallery (841 Carondelet St., 522-5471) is having a sale on Cuban artworks by Vladimir "Vlado" Llaguno and Jiro Alfonso. Alfonso's small works on paper have been discounted from $850 to $600, and works by Vlado are up to 50 percent off their regular price.

During the fundraiser, you can donate $1, $5, $10 or $20 at a store or online and receive a personalized cutout bunny. Donors of $20 or more also will receive a special snow globe. The event lasts through April 17.

Check out the custom-designed brushed sterling silver hoops at Sabai Jewelry Gallery (924 Royal St., 525-6211; 3115 Magazine St., 899-9555), which now is featuring jewelry by Jane Diaz.

Three Dog Bakery (827 Royal St., 525-2253) encourages pet owners to bring their dogs to the Downtown Development District's Wednesday at the Square Concert Series at Lafayette Square, which runs from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. every Wednesday for 12 weeks, starting tomorrow. Three Dog Bakery will hand out free samples of its products at each concert and will have a sales area stocked with doggie treats, costumes, toys and more.
