Arabella Fine Gifts & Home Decor (3902 Hwy. 22, Mandeville, 985-727-9787) is hosting two events this week to spotlight new tableware designs by Annieglass. Both events will be attended by Annieglass owner and designer Anne Morehauser. The first event is a cocktail party from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday (May 5) featuring cuisine by chef Tracy Bayles, owner of Choctaw Guide Service (www. choctawguideservice.com ) and known nationwide for his innovative preparation of seafood and wild game. The tasting menu will be served on Annieglass tableware and Morehauser will give customers tips about party decor. The second event is a trunk show from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday (May 6) featuring the distinctive handcrafted designs of Annieglass. A portion of the proceeds from sales at both events will benefit New Heights Therapy Center in Folsom, which provides therapeutic horseback riding for children with disabilities. Both events are free and open to the public.

Crown Royal has partnered with Boss Soul Aquarius (1101 N. During that time, the barbershop will be decorated in purple and gold and will be open to customers 21 and older. On select dates, the shop will host parties with cocktails and entertainment; call for more details. The barbershop is closed on Sunday and Monday.

Just in time for summer, Oliveaux (5422 Magazine St., 5422 Magazine St., 899-8120) has added some new products to help your skin and hair through the high heat and intense sun of the season. A marriage of olive and grape seed oils and extracts makes Olivina by Flora Napa a nutrient-rich formula used in body and hand lotion, body butter, and body scrub. Winifred Wikkeling bath and body products are made with natural ingredients and essential oils to sooth and nourish the skin with lavender and white rose scents inspired by the Dutch love of flowers. Phillip B hair conditioner is packed with African shea butter, wheat germ and soy proteins to hydrate, detangle and add shine.
