The Fairmont New Orleans hotel (123 Baronne St.) and Culinaria cooking school (1519 Carondelet St., 522-8789) are offering a Savor New Orleans Package that includes a night's stay at the Fairmont along with a three-hour cooking class and multiple-course meal with wine and spirits at the cooking school, housed in an historic Civil War-era mansion. The package starts at $250 for one person or $275 for two and is available through the end of the year. Classes are held every weekday except Thursday. Hazelnut (5515 Magazine St., 891-2424) now offers an exclusive line of toile New Orleans scenes by artist Sonia O'Mara that is available in fabric sold by the yard as well as on a mirrored keepsake box, handbags, bureau boxes, a zippered tote and a tufted memo board.

Hopper's Wines & Spirits (170 Broadway St., Suite 145, 861-7500) is having a special Spring Cleaning Sale on a large range of selected wines to make way for new arrivals this month. You'll receive at least 20 percent off the regular price, while supplies last.

Loa, the bar at the International House (221 Camp St., 553-9550) and Robert Norman jewelers invite people who buy drinks at the bar between 5 p.m. and midnight Saturday, May 21, to register on a special cocktail napkin for a chance to win a loose diamond close to a half-carat in size. Each drink you buy gives you another chance to enter. The winner will be announced at midnight. The event will be repeated once a month throughout the year.

Save 20 percent to 70 percent off selected items during a moving sale at M. Goldberg (200 Broadway St., Suite 121, 866-1116). The clothing store will move into a brand new 3,000-square-foot facility at the corner of Tchoupitoulas and Leontine streets in early June.

You're Invited (7815 Maple St., 324-6842) is holding a series of summer classes that include a window collage class, decorative box class, rubber-stamping basics, and Children's Stamp Camp. A class to make windows into collage works of art is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 22, and Sunday, July 10. Cost is $55 for each session. Classes to make old boxes into artistic keepsakes are available from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. May 29, June 12 and July 24; cost is $35 a session. The shop will hold Children's Stamp Camp from 9 a.m. to noon June 8-10 or from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 15-17 for a fee of $115 (all supplies included) for each three-day session. Adult rubber-stamping basics will be taught from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. June 26 and Aug. 17 for a fee of $35 a day (all supplies included). Call the shop to register.
