2003 Pepi Pinot Grigio
Oregon
$9 -
$11
Pepi's philosophy is evident from the moment you twist off the Stelvin screwtop (no tools required!) on this fresh, crisp, unpretentious Pinot Grigio: an anywhere, anytime wine that emphasizes elegance, finesse and simplicity. Made from 93 percent Pinot Grigio and 7 percent Riesling sourced from Willamette Valley, the wine shows floral aromas tinged with lime peel and nectarine followed by citrus, green apple and melon flavors featuring a racy acidity and zesty mineralilty. Very food friendly, especially with salads and lighter fare. Available at Lakeview Fine Foods, Cork & Bottle, most Sav-A-Centers, Dorignac's, Breaux Mart on Severn Avenue, Robert's Fresh Market on West Esplanade Avenue and The Wine Room and Hugh's Wine Cellar in Mandeville. (Store listings current at press time.)
