"Greens are really what I'm seeing right now — a lot of chartreuse or acidy greens, even ivy greens or what I like to call more of an avocadoy green. Grange Furniture is doing furniture with painted finishes, and this acidy green is one of their hot colors, too."

"I'm seeing a lot of white with stainless steel accents, like white canvas grommeted drapes or shades. One of the big trends I'm seeing is modern — a lot of Lucite tables and things like that. If you were going to buy one thing, a Lucite table would be a great thing to purchase this spring. Or white vinyl pillows would be fun and trendy and not a major purchase."

"Popular palette trends in the big fashion shows have included a lot of metallics around the eyes, as well as peachy cheeks and pink shadows — but rose colors, not pink pink pink. Bright lips are also in right now. In almost every magazine I pick up, there are bright fuschia lips. If using metallics on the eyes though, the lips and cheeks would be more subdued."

"White and navy are definitely the biggest colors of the season — white in dresses and bottoms mostly, and navy in anything head to toe and novelty tops. Metallics are the biggest accent colors showing up everywhere — from clothing to accessories."
