Locals can shop at a new market beginning this Saturday, Sept. 8, from noon until 5 p.m. near the corner of Freret Street and Napoleon Avenue. With one section for food products, one for arts vendors and one for flea market vendors, the Freret Market will be held on the first Saturday of every month and has space for up to 60 vendors.
