Local stores are expanding their horizons. The owners of the trendy women's boutique Blink (3260 Severn Ave., Metairie, 883-8054) have just opened a second location at 5419 Magazine St. Lifestyle and gift shop Oliveaux (5422 Magazine St., 899-8120; www.oliveaux.com) now has a Baton Rouge location at 12722 Perkins Road. And Rouses Markets, Louisiana's largest independent grocer, will soon acquire 17 New Orleans-area Sav-A-Center locations, having just purchased the stores from A&P. Shoppers should note that the Sav-A-Center at 400 North Carrollton Ave. will be closed Tuesday, Oct. 2, and will reopen as a Rouses Market on Wednesday, Oct. 3.
