This young winery harvested its first vintage just 10 years ago. The fruit is produced from French Cabernet Sauvignon clones in vineyards 3,000 feet above sea level in the foothills of the Andes. After fermentation, the wine was aged one year in French and American oak, followed by six months of bottle aging. It exudes complex aromas and a well-balanced expression of varietal character with silky tannins and fresh acidity. It harmoniously blends flavors of cassis, coffee, currants and chocolate.
