Marlborough, New Zealand

$18 Retail

Saint Clair's signature sauvignon blanc is a light and appealing wine. Grapes were sourced from Marlborough's various subregions, including vineyards in Lower Wairau, Rapaura and Brancott Valley. The wine was fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve its freshness and delicate varietal character. In the glass, it offers aromas of passion fruit, lime, grapefruit and stone fruit. On the palate, taste zesty citrus, peach, black currants and minerality. Drink it with raw oysters, trout meuniere, shellfish stew, lobster risotto, beet salad with goat cheese and spiced pecans, sushi and Asian cuisines. Buy it at: Cork & Bottle. Drink it at: Dante's Kitchen and The Hotel Modern.
