The thin-skinned malbeck grape has thrived in the area's thin air, bright sunshine and high altitude for more than 160 years. Malbec wines produced under these conditions are different from other Argentinian wines made with fruit from valley floors. After vinification, the wine matured in French barrels for 15 months. On the palate, taste raspberry jam, cocoa powder, spice, black pepper and a savory herbal character framed by firm, smooth tannins. Decant 30 minutes before serving.
