Wonderful experience at this galerie!!!Ms. Gildspinel and her son were delightful people. I purchased two prints from a local artist whose roots are in Senegal. I purchased two paintings:A brilliant and seductive rendering of Josephine Baker on canvass and an abstracted african kente on canvass. I could have spent hours and hours gazing at the collection and restrained myself and my purse from all the lovely pieces on display.
A+++++ experience. Can't wait to get the framed art to showcase in my home!
Will definitely make this a regular stop on my French Quarter travels in the future.
