This will not end until corporate donations are banned in Louisiana. Of course, Jindal benefits from corporate donations so he wont be calling for their ban any time soon.
God save us from Tony Perkins.
Danny: The Gambit was on board with Jindal since 2003. It is only recently that they have seen the light.
I don't think it is a blight on Jindal's tenure that Louisiana is last in healthcare. Why should we expect any less? We were last in healthcare when he stopped being head of the Louisiana Department of Health as well!
Adrastos: The only reason that such a change would be relevant would be if the editorial board was pretty much evenly split in its endorsement of Jindal, if Kevin's vote would have been different than the vote he replaced, and if Kevin would have chosen to not endorse Jindal in those endorsement meetings.
Otherwise, the change of adding Kevin to the mix would not have had an effect of the outcome of the endorsement of Jindal and the hypocrisy would still stand.
"On topics such as embryonic stem-cell research, he preferred to treat controversial social issues like abstract philosophical questions. More troubling to us is his enthusiastic endorsement by the Baton Rouge-based Family Research Council, the ultra-conservative organization headed by former state Rep. Tony Perkins. "
You endorsed Jindal and use this argument against Cao? I am not voting for Cao but the hypocrisy is just mind boggling.
Re: “O, Governor, Where Art Thou?”
What happened to the guy we elected Governor? He has been the same guy all along. Some of us just knew it ahead of time.
