The problem is the usual NOLA nonsense; the cost is maybe much higher? How come Metro still uses 3 men crews? Its because they don't have operable lifts on their trucks. If their bid was legit, would they not be screaming about lack of money? The result in Lakeview; bags, garbage cans and all of the debris we generate strewn around the garbage carts awaiting the miracle workers from Metro, who do an excellent job of clearing the streets.

I've read various comments about fishermen contacting VW from minor skin cuts in hot weather; most cautions concern avoiding water contact; using disinfectant and immediate emergency room treatment if symptoms show.
I would also mention the usual lack of sanitation facilities on oyster boats; the human wastes go where? Ditto for on-board refirgeration facilites. You think, people knew the reasons for not eating oysters in months without an R? The usual line is that they keep the oyster sacks wet, so the oysters don't die. Remember oysters/clams are marvelous filters and retain the stuff that they encounter...

It seems that the neighborhoods would protect and treasure their parks, if they actually operated the parks. Does this seem similar to the schools? So how about charter parks? Who needs HANO/School Board stupidities repeated in the parks and recreation opportunities?
