The proposed relocation of Cold Storage is probably the most stupid proposal since the riverfront expressway was proposed back in the 60's. There are many other more viable alternatives than putting this enormous industrial plant right in the backyard of the most historic neighborhoods in America. This is ill thought, ill conceived and just plain stupid!

this is testament to the fact that groups such as vcpora are not openly democratic organizations and should not be considered to be representative of the membership, much less the residents of the french quarter. Moffitt has caused irreperable harm to the reputation of vcpora, and rightfully so. The Board of Directors should immediately change the policies of this group, become a more open, transparent and democratic organization and call for the ouster of Moffitt as president!

too much political correctiveness going on here. she is just as funny as chris rock, lisa lampanelli, or joan rivers. her act has a bit of truth in it and it strikes a chord with some, probably because they are just too embarrassed to admit thre is a bit of truth in it. Get over it, it's comedy, it's funny and it's relevant!!
