Who in their right mind would give such a horrible name to what was a great club?
And move the stage to the side where no one on the street can hear the music?
And set up butt-ugly wood bar stools?
The same guy who hits people over the head with hammer, thats who
Stay away from this place
This review is for THE OWNER of this establishment. NO amount of 25 cent oysters can compensate for a creepy, scummy and douchy owner. A man who spends a half hour freaking out because someone wants to park behind his VINTAGE PORSCHE (whoop-dee fook-ing doo), running out to rub the fenders, grabbing a no-parking cone, standing by it and glaring and complaining--(plus having parked it in TWO spaces), when meanwhile A BLIND MAN is trying to make his way home and having a difficult time getting past the tent poles, broken sidewalk, and flung-open-blocking the-public-thoroughfare trash shed doors of said owners establishment...while the owner and his several employees all stare at this poor fellow who is about to walk IN TO the trash shed doors. NO offer to help the man, NO sending an employee over to help the blind man, NO concern WHILE WATCHING said blind man trying to make his way home past this JERK'S establishment. I ran over to help this nice fellow navigate the obstacle course that creepy-porsche-guy has going on at his restaurant, shocked at the utter lack of example, compassion or concern on the part of the owner and his employees. In a town full of great oysters at great prices, there is no reason to give this creep your money.
NYX was NOT great this year--the riders were scowling, barely throwing...not very fun at all in fact
Not sure why the location of the march in New Orleans was not mentioned? I understand its Washington Park on Esplanade
Why not just ticket people who do not use their turn signals?? I'm guessing a LOT more than $5 million would be generated. Add tickets to people who block sidewalks when they park and we could substantially up the city coffers.
Just be prepared for an hour wait and a room so loud you scream across the table (the added booming music & T'Vs don't help). Or better yet, go somewhere else...
Went once...the food was bland, the oil used to cook the chips was old and those dyed blue tortillas are just disgusting
