I also played for BunnyFriend park and lived just around the corner from the park on Piety st. Playing football, basketball, and baseball for the park was some of the most rememberal times of my youth. I lived in that area of the upper 9th ward for just little over 10 years. I remember during baseball season on the weekend, BunnyFriend park would be pack with spectators watching the adult BunnyFriend park team playing against rival parks. Most of those adult players were postman and coaches of the youth teams. Those was happy and goodtimes for that area.
