Re: “Tim's Place

My family is from Louisiana. But I've only visited NOLA for business or for fun. I learned to love the place because of Frank's Place. Those characters and their idiosyncracies must be in my blood. I can't forget them.

I have about 16 of the shows on vhs and they are not good copies. Over the years I have searched the internet for the series on a more permanent form. I was told a while ago that there was a lot of confusion about who owned the rights to the show.

If Mr. Reid and Ms. Maxwell-Reid now own the rights, is it possible that a charitable organization, trust or foundation, e.g. Pew, Ford, Annenberg, etc would fund getting the music as a charitable, tax deductible contribution of the music's owners?

To me such an appeal is perfectly timed, that is, Post Katrina, when the world wants to know more about NOLA and this series is such a beautiful teaching guide.

Tim / Daphne - take it on the road, come back to L.A. to do it. Restore this beautiful piece of work. Shame the Devil!

If Mr. Reid and Ms. Wright now own the rights, is it possible that a charitable organization, trust or foundation, e.g. Pew, Ford, Annenberg, etc would fund getting the music as a charitable, tax deductible contribution of the music's owners?
