I believe it's rare that bloggers care enough to carefully choose topics and, sometimes most important, edit with obsession. You clearly have those qualities, both key to holding not only a reader's interest, but also your own; and I'd like to think that after nearly three years of regular blogging, I do too. Ernest Hemingway and NOLA's Patty Friedmann are my 2012 Summer Reading Stars, as I work my way through their novels. Recently I mentioned this to Ms. Friedmann, who said, "If Hemingway had known, he'd still be around. Let me go take my vitamins."
