I worked at the Habitat Restore from summer 08 through the end of 09. We sold chinese drywall out of the Restore by the pallet. Customers were unable to examine the material before they bought it and had to go to a separate warehouse to claim it once it was purchased. As an employee at Restore, I never actually laid eyes on the stuff. We stopped selling it once the story broke nationally, but then began selling it again once Habitat produced it's bogus test evidence, despite employee concerns. We kept a record of everyone who purchased it the 2nd time around and to my knowledge none of those people have been contacted and alerted to the potential damage the product is causing in their homes.
