Bull hockey.... It does not save lives and it causes more accidents. Incidentally I was at an intersection that had the cameras in BR and an ambulance was trying to get through. No one would move until the light changed in order to let the ambulance pass.
This is nothing more than a scam. If they really want to make the intersections safer add 1/2 second to the amber light and be done withe it.

It's about time they equalized assessments. If you go to the assessors web site there are many properties which show no assessment value. Many of these are multimillion dollar homes on St. Charles Ave.
If everyone pays something then taxes can be levied at reasonable and fair rates. No more special deals.

Melancon never defined himself and was promised support from the DNC for his support for Obama votes. Instead of being a La Dem like Mary he chose to go another route. Of course he's about as stupid as a politician can be and showed it on election night with his incoherent speech.
FWIW Richmond will be Dollar Bill Lite..... and end up in prison with him.
