The American Dream is alive all around us everyday. Examples are abound everywhere, whenever there is a first generation College Grad, or when a hourly wage earner opens their own business. The American Dream lives in those who stay focused and are driven to seek out their dreams.
But the American Dream is dying in so many American's who feel trapped and helpless to reach for their Dreams because they are feeling too trapped, often feeling as if there is little to no real options left for them but to just survive day by day. To these American's the Dream is dying...if not dead already.
To find examples of the American Dream alive and well one can look every year to the tens of thousands naturalized US citizens, those immigrants, who like most of our American forefathers, came to America as immigrants to reach their own dreams, of their own free will and to be free to make their own choices and all situations.
It is amazing that when asked what is one of the first thing they are going to do as recent American citizens... many stated they are going to registry to vote and others stated they wanted to get their American passport and proudly to show it, to be a proud American citizen and to vote... to express themselves freely.
The American Dream should begin with an American vote...not 50% but 90% or more should vote in every election. If more voted then the American Dream would be reached by many many more American's. If everyone would vote and vote for a person who is fiscal conservative with a huge liberal heart. I believe if almost all American's voted then the American Dream would become alive in many more Americans... no handouts, no welfare... just lend a helping hand...to help guide and give those Americans with dying Dreams hope again...to those who may have been knocked down and stepped on and they only need hand to get them on back on their path to their American Dream. The American Dream is alive but many more should get to enjoy it.
