Shoof920, If your kids are too young to be out of doors without a tent then don't bring them to the parade. Kind of selfish of you to subject a child that age to the elements. I've lived here all my life and gone to parades since I was born and NEVER did my parents feel it necessary to rope off or tent an area of the parade route to protect me or my family. Ladders I understand but tents are over the line. I would stay home with my kids if the weather was not good enough for them to be out and you should do the same.
