Re: “Hey Blake, what's the address of the building where on May 1, 1936, the FBI located Karpis in New Orleans?

I remember when they capured Karpis, I was a kid going to Sacerd Heart school in the next block. What a great time to be a kid in New Orleans..

Re: “Hey Blake, Did Bayou St. John at one time run all the way to downtown?

As a kid growing up in New Orleans, bayou St. John was one of our swimming places. We used to dive off the old black train bridge in back of City Park. I was not supposed to, and my mother would catch me each time because I stunk like the bayou. It had eight foot gar fish in it and they drained it every so often. My great grand mother drowned in the bayou.

Re: “Hey Blake: What's the Story of the House at 925 Burdette Street?

I remember going to a Wedell-Willams airport in Jefferson Parish, to fly with one of the the Roberts Bros. (Right before WW II) Weather was bad and we had to cancel.
