He's a "politician", and politicians' only raison d'etre is to remain "politicians". That means trying to please as many people as possible, as often, and for as long as possible. It is what politicians do. Why are you surprised or confused? He is NOT a "leader" whose principles, morals, intelligence all work in harmony to achieve what is legitimate improvement in an ever-increasingly broken system run by "politicians". That would imply a fully-integrated intelligence, which his, obviously, is not. I suppose at this point, in spite of his 'education' you could substitute 'idiot' for 'politician', but that would be an insult to idiots.
