Re: “Jindal's New Orleans presidential announcement actually is in Kenner

Love all these people who travel and claim New Orleans who live "near" New Orleans. Whenever they announce they are "from" New Orleans I just wonder why?

Now this story about being in the Crescent City when you are really somewhere else.

Re: “Review: Cibo

A very pleasant place to relax and try out some good and different food. The owner and staff are very good at making your visit a very positive one. Outdoor seating is another plus for a stop here for lunch or early dinner.

Re: “Uber to deliver ice cream

Politicians hand out hot dogs and T- shirts for votes. A new twist on obtaining public support but this one will cost the target a double sawbuck. The Über people are something else. Bet they have their ducks in a straight line for the upcoming vote.

Re: “Review: Atchafalaya

This restaurant is a gem in Uptown New Orleans. Even participated in the NOWFE Vintner Dinner at Atchafalaya and besides the smoked oysters prepared outside on the banquette and the live music for the dinner we pass a fantastic time. A neighborhood restaurant with very good food and a reasonable wine list that allows you to enjoy dining with a laid back but always present attitude about service. I am a regular and this place has my Seal of Approval.

Re: “Two Tony’s on the move

A great New Orleans neighborhood restaurant and now located in New Orleans. The service is as good as the food and the food is very good. The new place is so beautiful with great ambiance. Whether in coat and tie, dressy casual clothes, or jeans and the latest t-shirt you are welcome to dine on some fantastic culinary creations by Chef Tony. Reasonable prices, large portions, and a decent wine list to pass a great time at one of my favorite restaurants in New Orleans.
