Wendy,
Lea's brings back memories of traveling back to pharmacy school in Monroe from New Iberia. A stop at Lea's was manditory. And the guy talked very loud...a little deaf, but the pies and sandwiches were fantastic. Glad to see it's still there....not many of those places left.

Wendy,
Truly a great story about Didier accepting the soldiers with open arms. Andre (Rodrigue) and I have been to Normandy several times visiting all the sites and remembering what sacrifices those men and women made for our freedom. The white crosses in the Normandy graveyards shadow the true heroes lying there. We should respect and honor those remaining survivors-the greatest generation. Thanks for recalling the deeds of those courageous men and women.
