Ron Paul does not advocate an isolationist foreign policy, but a non-interventionist one. Big difference!
An isolationist advocates closing the borders and curtailing travel and trade. A non-interventionist wants open borders, free travel, and free trade, but no meddling in the internal affairs of other nations.
Ron Paul wants to scale back our massive military presence all around the world and stop the endless, no-win wars. And besides, we can no longer afford all this militarism. We're broke!
