Sorry, but we have to add clarity to the above comment as it is suggestive to something that we are strongly opposed to.
We are a scratch kitchen - mostly all natural ingredients, and many local. Nothing "commercial" or "chemical" (especially mixes or chocolate). We intentionally have no interior walls and proudly showcase the entire kitchen in order to show you exactly what we prepare. As referred above, the "pink sugar icing" was a Roselle glaze made from steeped Roselle buds that are bought from VEGGI (a farmers co-op out of NO East). The "fake whipped cream" was a fresh raspberry buttercream. "Strange peanut butter type filling" was a peanut butter mousse (admittedly not from scratch peanut butter) and the "jelly" was just good old fashioned grape jelly to fit the roll of a PB&J (we do jelly in house too - see current apple and satsuma options).
We are always happy to answer any questions about our products and hope to encourage the support of businesses that promote and serve "real" food.
Scratch donuts, all natural hormone/antibiotic free proteins, local small dairy milk, organic/all natural sodas, etc. We can accept that our food may not be your favorite, but we work too hard to sit quietly at allegations that we are making "cheap" food.
