Did the writer even step foot in Avenue Pub? They only have a handful of taps upstairs, the majority are downstairs, both with "serious" selections. And while they have many local and regional beers on tap, they also have beers from across the world plus beers you cannot get anywhere else in the USA. That is NOT an exaggeration.
I think the Mid-City Bulldog is bigger than the Magazine Street location and has just as many, if not more, taps, plus a larger courtyard.
Abita's not in New Orleans. But if you are going to talk about the Northshore, you have to mention Barley Oak.
