You “seriously doubt the accuracy of such high numbers” huh? Yeah oral and anal is pretty normative for most sexually active Americans, straight and gay. You must not be getting laid much. Or getting information from places outside the Fox News bubble. What a shock.
Try not to hurt yourself reading the big scientific study.
In 2011, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released findings that show 44 percent of straight men and 36 percent of straight women have had anal sex. 90 percent of men and 89 percent of women reported having had oral sex with opposite-sex partners. Straight couples are having the same type of sex as gay couples and have been since the dawn of time. If we follow your line of thinking sex should be outlawed altogether, or surely monitored by law enforcement agencies, since it inevitably leads to behaviors you deem deviant.
As far as ‘pride’ goes, its common practice for people that have suffered bigotry and hate crimes at the hands ignorant subhumans to organize pride marches. Matter fact, most major American cities host annual parades that celebrate Italian Pride, Irish Pride, Black Pride and yes... Gay Pride.
AhContraire maybe if you pulled your head out of your own self-proclaimed filthy anus you might recognize the futility of your moronic arguments against that which doesn’t involve you anyway. Tend to your own romantic sexual life (if anyone will have you) and we will do the same.
"Landrieu commended New Orleans City Council for taking the first step toward opening an inquiry into the utility's restoration efforts."
Nice of him to notice they're doing the job we voted them in office to do. Ordinarily we can count on him to meddle to the point of upending their work in his drive to be Dictator over everything with the word NOLA attached to it. If he hadn't marginalized OUR council in the first place by locking them out of pre-hurricane strategy meetings with the utilities companies, we might have avoided experiencing so many of the missteps Entergy made. The Council is responsible for regulating and supervising these companies, they have more local intelligence and closer ties to the constituents in their district than he does. They could have brought good ideas, warnings to the table. The fact that Mitch blocked their 'right' to be involved in strategizing to ensure our suffering would be minimized is vile and repugnant. Sitting here still suffering rolling blackouts over a week after the storm while Entergy pats themselves on the back with their self-assessment of "outstanding" and this mayor is partially to blame.
Yeah I voted for him last time but never again. 'Fool me once, shame on you.' And for me, the old adage ends there.
Would (or could) Cynthia Willard Lewis do what Stacy Head is doing for OCH and has done on Freret? I think not.
