I read multiple news websites every morning on my iPhone but I'm also an automatically renewing subscriber to the Baton Rouge Advocate. But when I look down my block early every morning as I'm reaching for my paper I only see 2 other papers in yards. This is what's happened.
LOL Jeremy! I think you totally had it coming on this one! I do a little work at the capitol now on behalf of clients and your story was the talk of flak-dom. The vote against was running an average of 4 to 2. You bit the hand that feeds! The only difference between me and them is I didn't have my salary as an independent consultant published, and the mention was good for my business. So thanks! You're a good journalist and I'm always happy to help you with a story.
There's a typo in Jeremy Alford's story on state government PR people. The Greenpeace "fish incident" occurred in March 1999, not March 2009. Governor Foster left office in January 2004.

Georges can make a much more significant contribution to Louisiana by doing this than he ever could as governor. Good for him!
