Thank you for providing this information. By not making a public statement it just looked like you were acting in a childish and thoughtless manner without regard for the citizens represented by the council. I'm sure many people are happy to hear otherwise. As for those shady tactics being employed: isn't there some sort of legal action to be taken to make the council accountable for any underhanded activities? After all EVERYONE on that council is responsible to the people, and not there to get their friends a job or pad their own pockets. Thanks again for speaking out.
My great-grandfather, Frederick Schroeder I, worked on the refreshing of the murals in 1891-92. As a gifted painter he felt the urge to paint constantly and so there are many many portraits and tryptichs and painted furniture that have scenes of studies and subjects that all look exactly like the style of the St Louis Cathedral in my mother's home outside of New Orleans.

Re: “Oysters by the riverside”
I sure wish I could be there in my hometown for this event. Meanwhile, is there still the scare of what the oil-spill disaster did to the shellfish/seafood supplies. Are people still frightened that the oil and the chemical agents flushed through the water to "fix" the oil spill are going to taint the seafood?
