What Nola News said. Don't give NOLA any clicks at all!
Times-Picayune to begin printing on days it doesn't print in order to provide "front-to-back newspaper reading experience". REALLY Ricky Ticky Tacky??? The paper was seven days before you snuck into town. I guess the digital didn't do it for you, huh???
“We are excited about this opportunity to extend our daily reach in print". Your excited Kelly Rose??? Do you think this will bring back the advertisers you lost when the paper went to 3 days a week??
All I've got to say is "Screw me once, shame on you, screw me twice, shame on me". You won't get that second chance.
Anyone with a lick of sense won't spend a dime on the joke "TP Street". Who came up with that name, a hooker????
Pretty much hits the nail right on the head!
As mentioned, over "200" people have lost their jobs.
Really???? Was this article necessary? I do have a sense of humor but found this in bad taste and disrespectful to the laid off employees of the Times Picayune!
The readers of Portland: get ready to undergo some drastic changes to your paper. To the employees of the Oregon Paper, I am very sorry for the loss of jobs that you will experience. Hopefully it will be handled in a professional manner, unlike how the Times Picayune executives did. Sorry to hear the bad news.
My subscription will be running out in September as well, and I have already navigated away from NOLA and utilizing all the other local sites. WWL, WDSU, FOX, WGNO and GAMBIT! Just as informational, and much easier to navigate!
Re: “John Georges talks about his purchase of The Advocate”
I think it's fabulous news that John Georges has bought The Advocate and has hired Dan Shea and Peter Kovaks. There are many former employees that are currently working for The Advocate. Kudos to them and TP/Nola Media Group continues to flounder. What else is new??
