Re: “Departures at The Times-Picayune

i found this comment on another string. it calls out james gill and contains information about the nola.com octopus:

' I have a special question. How does Jim Amoss award his Scarlet Letters, his A's, to his bozos who are more sinister, careful, in their allegiance to Him? Rather than the 9" A's The Quisling and The Collaborator pin to their yellow blazers, the word is that the nature of His game is to give scarlet sour lozenges emblazoned with A's to James Gill, The Informer, who should be weighing in on the gutting of the TP like the Kray Brothers decimating a public house with hurley sticks, and to Silent But Deadly Renee Peck, whose entirely boring New Orleans cultural website for the overweight Garden District inheritor, http://nolavie.com/ is hosted by nola.com (punch this in your browser, and there you are at Jim Amoss's scarlet mansion: http://www.nola.com/nolavie/ ) JRS'

Re: “Departures at The Times-Picayune

so o'byrne fired bunny mathews. . but he hired equally talented people like sheila stroup and susan larson and renee peck and doug maccash, more than making up for it, no? you just watch -all those writers he let go last month will be second thoughts on the sides of bakery trucks and in the main gallery at arthur roger, same as bunny, as soon as nola.com starts getting it on with o'byrnes next crop of shakespeares.
