The Rice Mill looked great on paper, but the finished product is NOTHING like the proposal. How could the Bywater Neighborhood Association allow the roofline to end up looking like it does - a pile of haphazard geometric shapes and architectural crap? It's horrible! This is a travesty for the development and for Bywater. Good luck with Elisio.
Re: “CEOs for Cities: New Orleans is the least cultured city in America”
I have several friends with very bright children who grew up in perfectly safe homes and in crime-free communities. All their time was spent at their computer and in front of their flat-screens. Their only problem is they have no motivation to do anything or be anything. It's an unwanted conundrum for the parents. New Orleans offers a life that is socially interactive unlike anywhere else in this country. I wouldn't live anywhere else. Good luck, kids. Our future is in your hands.
