Jindal is from a cultural background that is steeped in class awareness. He would rather cut poor people off of medicaid and close mental hospitals than even consider ending the TOPS program that sends rich kids to LSU. Yeah, I called TOPS ugly. If you look at the recipients of TOPS, my guess is that the average family makes more than 100K. Would the legislature cut the last great give-away to the wealthy in LA, I think not. Too many BMWs on campus, at least that is what Lombardo said. If Piush would stay here a little bit more, and talk to the LA press once and a while, then maybe people might get to know him. Oh wait, that might not necessarily be a good thing. Advice to the press: If he ever calls a press conference to get something he wants out, short of a hurricane, ignore the call. Let the DeMoines Register cover it, That will be his new home paper. Good Luck!
