New Orleans, I love you! I'm just returning after being outside of the city full-time for 15 years. I'm back & I'm working in the…
One of those pains that hurt so good though. Happy for the city.
This guy should be ashamed, to say the least. He's a disgrace to our city; he should be disowned, thrown in jail, and slapped with a rubber glove filled with thumbtacks.
I understand where you're coming from and all but please let's be happy for our city for this moment. I, too, do not understand why the city has not made drastic improvements to all the things you just named, but for this particular event, let's kick back & enjoy it. The streets are in dire need of something for crying out loud and they have just started to "really" start working on them just weeks before the big game (around the Superdome, that is). It's ridiculous to think it will be done by then but at least they are doing something. I would like to see it done before the 3rd of February, but let's be frank. Anywho, New Orleans lacks a lot, man. An unexplained amount of things, in all honesty, but... -- but nothing!!!
We have too many festivals and games and tourists and carnivals and everything else for this city to not be in its best possible shape!!! We have to do better. My only question is: WHY THE HELL HAVEN'T WE???
Idk about it this year. Of course, I'll be home for the festival but highly doubt if I will be attending any of these shows.
