Saw many shows at the venurable old venue including Procal Harum twice, Focus, BTO, but the highlight was ELP Trilogy Tour, Olympia Brass opened the show then ELP emerged from the smoke with Hoedown, Tarkus, Take A Pebble, Endless Enigma, Lucky Man, Pictures @ an Exhibition, Rhondo, etc. Watched from stage left right in front GL and CP then Greg gave me a headshake upon exiting the stage, was most raw but incredible show ever! Sorry I missed King Crimson though LTIA tour!
Re: “Hey Blake, was Pink Floyd's equipment that was stolen after their gig at the Warehouse in New Orleans ever found?”
Blake, did you know any locals that attended this show(s) and how was this 360D system incorporated in the old warehouse? I would have loved to see but was a tad too young. Just a note , the band did return to LA with original lineup in April 77 at LSU's Assembly (was a student then) center doing Animals in quad. Heavy duty! The lineup @ SD 94 was of course sans R Waters but a great show nontheless!
