I had the so called "Kobe" beef burger Real Kobe beef is over $100 a pound and it's use in US restaurants is rare. The menu should say US wagyu beef, which I'll admit isn't as sexy but it's more accurate. The burger was OK, nothing exciting. Still searching for the perfect burger in New Orleans, Read my blog on tumblr, petercallahansblog, Happy Hamburger Tuesday.
A gargoyle is a water spout, a grotesque is a decorative figure on a building. In this case, definitely a grotesque.
This is a ridiculous exercise in appearing to be sympathetic but really just showing off. "Look at me, I'm drinking champagne out of a paper cup in a slum!". This does nothing for the affected area or the inhabitants, it's just an excuse for gouging money from people who are more concerned with being "hip" than having any real concept of enjoying food.
Thank you for bringing this feature back, I've missed it.
