      <![CDATA[You neglect to mention that independent testing is slowly, but surely, showing that the Gulf seafood might not be that safe after all. Three recent independent tests on shrimp, for instance, all came back positive for oil.<br>
<br>
I wanted to believe the government, too, but the plain fact is that they either aren't doing the appropriate testing or they're selecting such miniscule samples (e.g. recently testing 50 shrimp to open a fishing area of 8403 SQUARE MILES) that the true dangers are not being shown.
