Greg Shea: Perhaps you should consult a dictionary before writing your ideas. The theory of evolution is a SCIENTIFIC theory because it is an idea that is constantly being challenged by scientists and consistently being supported by ALL scientific EVIDENCE. Indeed, THAT is the very definition of science.
On the other hand, for creationism, there is ABSOLUTELY NO evidence to support it whatsoever and, because there is no evidence but the proponents still support it, creationism is is a religion, NOT science.

Evolution is philosophy, plain and simple, not science. Even if ALL scientists believed in evolution, that would NOT make it science or scientific.
