In the 2 years that I have been a regular customer, I have had the opposite experience with the staff, who are always extremely friendly and helpful--even when super-busy. While I respect the previous poster's right to his or her own opinion and experience, just offering another viewpoint here...would hate to see a good restaurant, and excellent people, summarized like this.

The Cult Of Chris rears it's ugly head once again.

Chris DeBarr is a great chef who is doing his own unique thing over at Green Goddess, there is no need to try and credit him with work that is not his own. Chris is doing very well for himself creating fantastic food at the Goddess.

I understand that many people feel a fierce loyalty to food that they personally connect with and the people who make that food, however, "LeoFoodGal's" comment is a perfect example of everything that is wrong with "food culture" in the age of Yelp, ChowHound and all of the various "everyman" review sites.

I dont think it was Tsarov who ignited the food revolution at Delachaise....you can thank Chris DeBarr for that. He is the one who made Delachaise what it is today...all of the best dishes on that menu came from Chef DeBarr.
